The Buccaneer offers three incredible beaches on property for guests to enjoy. The Beach Shacks at The Mermaid and The Grotto have snorkeling gear, paddleboards, floating mats, and kayaks available for guest use. Beaches
Mermaid Beach
Palm-shaded and protected, Mermaid Beach is The Buccaneer's main beach and features The Mermaid Restaurant and a water-sports center. The Mermaid Beach offers a variety of beach sports, including Frisbee golf, corn hole, ping pong and more. Complimentary snorkel gear, paddleboards and kayaks are available from the beach attendant
Grotto Beach
The Grotto pool and Beauregard's on the Beach are located on Grotto Beach. Three holes of the golf course are located along the shoreline of this beautiful beach in addition to a water-sports center. The Grotto beach is perfect for those who want to relax or read a book while listening to the gentle sounds of the waves.
Whistle Beach
The Buccaneer’s third beach, Whistle Beach, is an over-the-hill beach favored for its seclusion. The natural beach does not feature any structures and is often used for small weddings. Guests staying at The Buccaneer Beach House at Whistle Point have private access to Whistle Beach through the lawn.
Buck Island Reef National Monument
A "must-see" for all visitors to St. Croix, Buck Island Reef National Monument is "one of the top beaches in the world," according to National Geographic. Full-day or half-day trips can be arranged by the concierge.

Beach Activities and Water Sports
Guests receive complimentary use of ocean kayaks, paddleboards, snorkeling gear, floating mats, beach toys and games. Guests enjoy two pools, one located at the Great House, and one at the Grotto Beach. Soccer, corn hole, ping pong and beachside basketball are offered as well at The Mermaid Beach.
Fitness
The fitness center is open for guest enjoyment 24/7 and offers complimentary use of treadmills, elliptical machines, free weights, and other gym equipment. Or get outdoors and enjoy our rolling two-mile trail.
Golf
The Golf Course & Pro Shop offer club rentals and lessons. The Club offers play on 93 courses world-wide on the only golf simulator on St. Croix. Tee times are required and should be made directly with the pro shop.
Tennis
The Tennis Club offers six Plexipave courts and two Tedelgrass courts with reservations required.
Spa
The oceanfront, air-conditioned, Massage 340 room offers bookings online and offers massage services, waxing and facials. The Petite Spa is open for manicures, pedicures, waxing and hair services.
